Lukaku celebrates 10 year anniversary of his Belgian national team debut

Romelu Lukaku has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of his debut for the Belgian national team.

Lukaku was handed his full debut aged just 16 against Croatia by then Belgium manager Dick Advocaat and the 26-year-old has went on to make a further 83 appearances for the Red Devils since then.

He has scored 52 goals whilst representing his country which makes him their all time top goalscorer.

He posted: “10 years ago at 16 years old Dick Advocaat gave me the opportunity to represent my country and play for Belgium. Those guys are my brothers I will go to war for them! We've been through so much together but it was always fun. 

"Thank you for being such good teammates and friends. Big thank you to all the coaches I've had and also to the medical staff for looking after us. It's big honour to play from my country and may the future be bright for us!”
