Manchester City have joined the group of Premier League clubs that are interested in making a move for Napoli defender Kin Min-Jae in the summer.
The centre-back has had a fine first season in Italy after being signed as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly last summer.
Min-Jae has been an ever-present in a team that has run away with the Serie A title and even claimed the league's Player of the Month award in September.
Premier League rivals Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham have all expressed an interest in activating the £40million release clause of Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae.
And The Sun claim Manchester City have now joined them.
Kim, 26, is said to prefer a move to the Premier League, were he to leave Napoli after just one season.
Spurs hold a slight advantage given the presence of international team-mate Son Heung-min, but the emergence of City, Liverpool and United - as well as Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich - has given the player and his representatives many options.
Napoli could look to remove the release clause - set at £39m (€45m) - by offering Kim a new contract less than 12 months after joining from Fenerbahce for £15m.
He has been a revelation for the Serie A club, who are currently 16 points clear at the top of table and set for their first title since 1990.
