Manchester United have made just two signings so far this summer, but plenty more business is expected to be done before the transfer window slams shut on September 1
Manchester United are set for a major squad overhaul this summer as they look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign that saw the Red Devils finish 15th in the Premier League and lose to Tottenham in the Europa League final.
United have already forked out £62.5million to sign Matheus Cunha from Wolves, while 18-year-old defender Diego Leon has also joined from Cerro Porteno. Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have both left after their deals expired, while Jonny Evans has retired.
Plenty more incomings and outgoings are expected before the window slams shut, with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia all set to leave the club.
Here, Mirror Football takes a look at all the latest transfer news and rumours from in and around Old Trafford...
Rashford boost
Marcus Rashford's hopes of joining Barcelona this summer have received a boost, with AC Milan having no plans to sell Rafael Leao.
Barcelona are keen to add some firepower and have already missed out on Nico Williams, who signed a new deal with Athletic Bilbao, while Liverpool do not want to sell Luis Diaz. And new AC Milan boss Max Allegri has now insisted Leao will remain at the San Siro despite interest from Barcelona.
"I'm sure I can bring out that extra something he's been missing," Allegri said. "I'm glad he's stayed, he's now more responsible, more mature, and has all the qualities to become one of the best."
Onana price tag
Manchester United are open to selling goalkeeper Andre Onana for £30m, just two years after forking out around £50m to sign him from Inter Milan.
Ligue 1 side Monaco and clubs from the Saudi Pro League have been credited with an interest in Onana, with United chiefs said to be keen to get his salary off the wage bill, and the 29-year-old has publicly hinted at an exit.
When asked about his future while attending an event in Burkina Faso last month, Onana told Afrik-Foot : "Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see!"
Napoli's Garnacho call
Napoli have been heavily linked with a move for Alejandro Garnacho, but it appears as though the Serie A champions have decided against signing the forward.
Garnacho is one of five players that appear to have no future at Old Trafford, but Napoli have targeted PSV Eindhoven star Noa Lang instead. According to reports from Italy, Napoli have struck a deal with PSV worth around £24m and the move is set to be completed.
