Sky Sports journalist Marchetti discussed the three English players Internazionale signed this summer during a broadcast. He believes that none of these players have met expectations so far this season, and head coach Simone Inzaghi has found alternative solutions by adjusting the lineup.
Marchetti stated: "These three English players? Internazionale simply can't field all of them at the same time. Among the three, Curtis Jones has had the most playing time, but honestly, he hasn't shown anything particularly impressive."
He then pointed out that Inter is reintegrating players who had limited opportunities in previous seasons. Yann Bisseck is gradually becoming a regular starter, Carlos Augusto has regained consistent form, and Petar Sučić is also performing well.
Marchetti concluded: "Next, perhaps it will be Filip Stanković or those English players who get more opportunities."
