Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi admits blanking the Agnelli family's 100 year anniversary celebrations this week.
Juve marked 100 years of ownership by the Agnellis earlier this wee.
But Moggi said: "No Agnelli was present, I was invited but I thought it was worth more visiting the Villar Perosa cemetery, I was there for an hour and then I watched the TV show.
"The celebration was based on folklore, which many people actually liked. I have an excellent relationship with everyone, I don't dispute the fact that John Elkann is Margherita's son, but he didn't participate in 100 years of Juventus, I've of little interest in diatribes.
"I face reality. I did what I thought was appropriate, having close relationships with Lawyer Agnelli and the Doctor."
