Jose Mourinho has been at the receiving end of criticism following Roma's 3-0 defeat to Inter at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday, but tried to defend himself by hitting out at the media after the game.
The Nerazzurri grabbed all three points as they completely outclassed Mourinho's men thanks to goals from Hakan Calhanoglu, former Roma striker Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries.
"Your job is much easier than ours, that's why we earn much more than you," Mourinho told a journalist after the duel, when he refused to answer questions.
Mourinho pointed to Roma's absences due to injuries and suspension as the main reason behind their poor display and defeat to Inter.
"Inter are stronger than us under normal conditions," declared Mourinho.
"Under abnormal conditions, they are much stronger than us. Today, with injuries and sanctioned players, it has been very, very difficult.
"Our attacking potential was practically nil and when you play with a defence that features Roger Ibanez and other players in positions that are not their usual ones, that's what happens."
