Napoli are reportedly weighing up a potential move for Everton left-back Lucas Digne.
Since arriving at Goodison Park in 2018, Digne has been a mainstay in Everton's backline, racking up 127 appearances for the club.
However, he has recently fallen out with manager Rafael Benitez, and has not featured in any of the side's last three matches.
It has been claimed that Everton could be open to selling the 28-year-old, who still has over three years remaining on his contract.
The Premier League outfit are closing in on sealing an £18million deal for Dynamo Kiev full-back Vitaliy Mykolenko, who may be viewed as Digne's replacement.
Napoli could use Digne's situation on Merseyside to their advantage, and make a bid for the Frenchman in January, according to Foot Mercato.
Currently four points behind leaders Inter Milan in Serie A, Napoli want to add depth to their squad in the left-back position.
The team have been heavily reliant on Mario Rui to cover this role this season as his understudy Faouzi Ghoulam has battled with multiple long-term injury setbacks over the past few years.
Bringing in Digne would provide plenty of competition for the left-back berth, although the out-of-favour Everton defender is not the only player that Napoli are interested in.
They have also identified Layvin Kurzawa as a possible option when the transfer window reopens next month.
The 29-year-old has spent the last six years at PSG, but appears to be surplus to requirements, having not played for Mauricio Pochettino's men in Ligue 1 or the Champions League this term.
