Faouzi Ghoulam has asserted that ‘we’ll all be Kalidou Koulibaly’ on Saturday, in a show of support for his embattled Napoli teammate.
Koulibaly was racially abused during Napoli’s 1-0 loss to Inter on Wednesday, but Ghoulam issued a timely rallying cry on the eve of the Partenopei’s match against Bologna.
“The colour of your skin doesn’t matter,” tweeted the left-back.
“Your religion doesn’t matter. The team you support doesn’t matter. Football, like all sports, is a game.
“And all games are about passion, fun, freedom: and in that freedom, and we’re all the same! [On Saturday] we’ll all be Koulibaly!”
