In a Serie A Week 7 match, Napoli lost 1-0 away to Venezia.
Venezia, promoted to Serie A this season, had lost all their league games before this match but surprisingly claimed all three points against Napoli.
Napoli's last Serie A loss to Venezia came on March 7, 1942, a 4-1 defeat away during World War II.
Venezia's most recent victory over Napoli before this was in Week 36 of the 2002/03 Serie B season, when they won 2-1 at home.
