Bologna have officially announced the arrival of Lorenzo De Silvestri, who moves on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old’s contract with Torino expired after 2019-20 and the right-back has joined the Rossoblu ahead of the new campaign.
He reunites with his former coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and has already played 132 games under the Serbian coach at Fiorentina, Sampdoria and then Torino.
De Silvestri made his Serie A debut at Lazio and the Rossoblu were ‘delighted to announce’ the new signing.
“Bologna FC 1909 are delighted to announce the arrival of Lorenzo De Silvestri, who joins the club on a permanent deal,” the club wrote in a statemen on their official website.
