Olympique Lyonnais have officially signed defender Joachim Andersen from Sampdoria for an initial €24m.
The deal was confirmed in a statement on Lyon’s official website, which adds Andersen will be presented on Friday afternoon.
According to Samp owner Massimo Ferrero, his club will receive an extra €6m in bonuses.
The 23-year-old played 42 times in two seasons with the Blucerchiati, who paid just €1.5m to sign him from FC Twente in 2017.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s side appear to have already found his replacement in Julian Chabot.
