OFFICIAL: Roma sign Italian left-back Leonardo Spinazzola from Juventus

Leonardo Spinazzola has officially departed Juventus and will play for Roma next season. The defender moves to the capital as part of the deal for the Bianconeri to acquire Luca Pellegrini.

Having been part of the Bianconeri set-up since 2010 and rising through the ranks of the Juventus Primavera, going from winning the prestigious Viareggio Cup to starting in the UEFA Champions League knockouts, it is today that Leonardo Spinazzola's Juve association comes to an end.

Spinazzola would go on to make a further 10 appearances in the league, as well as a memorable Champions League debut in Juve's 3-0 home win over Atletico Madrid in the Last 16. The stats show that he averaged 4.2 dribbles every 90 minutes, the most out of all the Juve defenders last season, with 1.1 successful crosses in 90 minutes, again holding the record amongst his defensive compatriots.
