Serie B side Perugia have officially hired Serse Cosmi after sacking Massimo Oddo earlier today.
The World Cup winner was dismissed following a 1-0 defeat to Venezia, which saw the Umbrian side drop to eighth in the table.
As expected, they have turned to a familiar face in Cosmi to keep them in the promotion mix.
This is the 61-year-old’s second spell on the Perugia bench, having managed them between 2000 and 2004 with great success.
He is one of Italian football’s more-travelled coaches, also working at the likes of Genoa, Udinese, Brescia and Lecce.
