Ottavio Bianchi: Don't just Garcia too soon at Napoli

Former Napoli coach Ottavio Bianchi enjoyed last season's title triumph.

Bianchi, however, insists the title win wasn't a surprise.

He told Il Mattino: "This year they have truly had an extraordinary championship. But Napoli, for many years now, have been a national reality, I would say also internationally.

"The start of the season? For me it's positive. Then, afterwards, the coach (Rudi Garcia) can give his indications depending on the players he has available, and this role is often overestimated too. In the sense that coaches are like the pilots.

"Today Ferrari is not going because there is no car, not because there are no drivers. When, on the other hand, there is a car, then even a good coach can express himself. Having said that, to give a more complete judgment you have to wait at least a dozen games.

"Arab football? I have no reason to judge if not that of money considering the salaries of certain players. If Diego (Maradona) were here today how much would he have to earn?"
