After last year’s hit and (mostly) miss transfer window, Paris Saint-Germain sporting advisor Luís Campos is determined to make amends this summer with a new approach, one that will see the club focus on bringing in young French talents to surround Kylian Mbappé.
One potential recruit is Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby – himself a PSG youth graduate – and the Ligue 1 leaders have already initiated talks with the forward’s entourage, according to a report from Foot Mercato this afternoon, regarding the feasibility of the move.
Diaby joined the Bundesliga side in 2019 from the French capital, and has since become one of the league’s most prolific scorers performers. Last year, the French international registered 13 goals and 12 assists, while he has found the net nine times so far this campaign.
Joining PSG in the race to sign the 23-year-old – who is under contrat for another two seasons – are Premier League sides Newcastle and Arsenal.
