Genoa forward Andrea Pinamonti will reportedly return to Inter to compete with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez at San Siro.
The Nerazzurri are looking for a back-up striker in the transfer market this summer and are, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, planning to bring Pinamonti back to Milan.
Inter sold the 21-year-old to Genoa for €19.5m after he completed last season on loan with the Grifoni.
But the report reveals the Nerazzurri have a buy-back clause in the deal with Genoa patron Enrico Preiziosi and could bring him back for the same amount.
The newspaper claims Pinamonti has been identified as a quality back-up behind Lautaro and Lukaku and should receive the same salary from his current contract in Genoa, where he earns €3m a year.
