Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has revealed that the striker has not agreed to new terms with AC Milan ahead of the new season.
It had been reported that the 38-year-old had agreed to a £6million-per-season deal with added performance and Champions League qualification bonuses.
The super-agent, who also represents Paul Pogba, took to Twitter to label the rumours as 'fake news'.
Whilst Milan look to be the front runners to re-sign the 38-year-old, who scored 10 goals and got five assists in half a season for them, they are still yet to iron out the details of a new deal.
Raiola squad all rumours by sharing an image of Ibrahimovic with the accompanying caption: 'Fake News! Ibrahimovic has NOT renewed his contract with AC Milan'.
Ibrahimovic has been absent from the Rossoneri's pre-season training under coach Stefano Pioli.
Pioli is said to be keen on re-signing the striker, who joined the Serie A side back in December 2019 on a free transfer.
The club are looking to seal Ibrahimovic's signature on a one-year deal according to Sky Sport Italia.
