Rangnick 'becoming impatient with Milan' as he watches nervously from afar

Ralf Rangnick is increasingly attentive of the situation at Milan having held concrete talks with the club over taking charge, it is claimed.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Rangnick is aware his name is now in the public domain and his hope is to wipe out any doubts about his future as soon as possible, even with a public announcement or confirmation from Milan.

The Rossoneri have held serious talks with the German coach, to the extent that going back would become complicated. The problem, however, is that in the meantime the Milan are continuing to grow under Stefano Pioli and have hauled themselves firmly back into contention for a European spot.

The moment of truth is about to arrive: soon the present will collide with the future and the two Rossoneri souls will have to arrive at a conclusion. In other words, either the Rangnick route which entails total control (coach and sporting director) or the trust in the current management.

What is clear is that uncertainty is not good for the Rossoneri club, especially given they are in a phase of recovery in terms morale, results and consequently public perception.

The report continues by claiming that news has arrived from Germany stating Rangnick is very attentive to what is happening in Milan and to future scenarios that could involve him. The talks with Elliott Management went a long way, but in the current season it is clear that they may have reached a certain threshold.

This is why the ex-Leipzig boss has realised that it is no longer time to stand still. While Boban and Maldini have no interest and see no advantage in his arrival, the club's owners got to the very advanced details the negotiation with Rangnick, but they too are now reflecting.

If the endorsement in Rangnick does not arrive shortly, the agreements made and the agreed details could be revised. Either way, the situation is coming to a head.
