Foot Mercato are reporting that, whilst Rasmus Højlund (20) is “flattered” by interest from Paris Saint-Germain, he has his heart set on a move to Manchester United this summer.

It was reported by L’Équipe on Thursday morning that PSG had tabled a €50m offer for the Danish international. Les Parisiens are awaiting Atalanta’s response, and are unwilling to go higher. Meanwhile, The Athletic have reported that Manchester United have also tabled an offer for Højlund, thought to be worth €60m, including add-ons.

RMC Sport have also reported that Højlund has agreements in principle with both clubs. However, according to Foot Mercato, Højlund is making a move to Old Trafford the priority. Whilst he is “flattered” by interest from Les Parisiens, the reigning Ligue 1 champions only represent a plan B for the former Sturm Graz forward.

Højlund’s “dream” is to play for Manchester United, and according to Foot Mercato, he already has an agreement in place to join the Premier League side.
