Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund admits it was a tough night for their defeat at Manchester City on Thursday.
Napoli lost their Champions League opener 2-1, with defender Giovanni di Lorenzo sent off in the first-half.
On-loan Manchester United striker Hojlund told Sky Italia: "Playing against City in this stadium is already difficult, playing 11 against 10 is even more so. It's a very difficult match."
Former City star Kevin de Bruyne was substituted immediately after Di Lorenzo's dismissal.
And Hojlund also said, "He wanted to play this match, but the coach makes the decisions and we have to respect his decisions.
"He has a lot of quality and is a great player, but it was the coach's decision and that's how it went."
