The 28-year-old is expected to complete his move to the Gewiss Stadium, after having spent seven years in Spain, initially with Rayo Vallecano, before moving to Real Valladolid on a two-year loan.
He spent three years with Girona and played 31 La Liga games for the club, who currently plays in Segunda Division.
