Roma have reportedly agreed a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca to become their new Coach.
Sportitalia talks of the much-vaunted ‘white smoke’ between Roma and Shakhtar, explaining how the Giallorossi will pay ‘around €2m’ to release Fonseca.
The Coach, for his part, would have accepted a reduced salary of €2m to aid negotiations with the Lupi.
Corriere dello Sport, meanwhile, writes left-back Ismaily was key to Roma reaching an agreement for the Portuguese.
The 29-year-old has emerged as the favourite to replace Aleksandar Kolarov and would set back the capital club €10-15m.
