Roma turn down Tottenham's interest in Schick

Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs who made an offer for Patrik Schick, claim Sky Sport Italia, but Roma turned them down.

The Czech forward turns 23 next week and was snapped up from Sampdoria for €14m plus up to €18m in various performance-related bonuses.

He has flopped so far at the Olimpico, but has shown signs of improvement after hiring a mental coach to help with his lack of confidence.

According to transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Tottenham made a proposal for Schick after Harry Kane’s injury, but Roma believe he can still reach his potential and will not sell.

Schick scored four goals with two assists in 19 competitive games this season.
