Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo gave a thumbs up to the camera despite being accused of rape as he trained with his team-mates on Friday.
Massimiliano Allegri's side are not in action until October 20 when they welcome Genoa to Turin but for those not away on international duty, it was business as usual in training.
Ronaldo, who started slowly in Serie A, showed signs of his confidence and form as he pulled off volleys and diving headers in the sunny session.
But while matters on the pitch appear to be going well, off it, Ronaldo and his team of lawyers remain busy after he was accused of rape by Kathryn Mayorga, claims he vehemently denies.
The latest in the ongoing case saw Leslie Stovall and Larissa Drohobyczer, the lawyers who represent Mayorga, reportedly ask Ronaldo's camp to get proof of forgery after a dispute over a non-disclosure agreement.
Mayorga claims she was paid $375,000 hush money to keep quiet about a sexual assault but the Juventus sportsman is said to have denied the paperwork being real.
In a statement to the media, the 34-year-old's representatives said anything 'should be immediately turned over to the appropriate law enforcement agencies'.
'Disputes regarding the accuracy of documents are generally questions of fact to be decided by the jury,' they added.
It came after Ronaldo's lawyer Peter S. Christiansen reportedly called the allegations 'complete fabrications' Wednesday while the woman's lawyer is said to have claimed that Ronaldo's rep had acknowledged the documents 'were obtained from Cristiano Ronaldo or individuals acting on his behalf.'
According to AP, Drohobyczer declined, via text message, to provide additional comment.
The sportsman's lawyers are understood to be claiming that he and the U.S. model accusing him of rape had consensual sex in his Las Vegas hotel room and then returned to the night club where they had met.
Mayorga claims she met the footballer in Rain, a nightclub in Las Vegas, after which she was invited back to his penthouse suite where he sexually assaulted her in the early hours of the morning of June 13, 2009.
Ronaldo has continuously refuted the allegations. He now wants CCTV footage from Rain, which closed in 2012, to show that they went to the club together.
In a statement, his representatives said: 'To absolve any doubt, Mr Ronaldo has always maintained, as he does today, that what occurred in 2009 in Las Vegas was consensual in nature.
'While Mr Ronaldo does not deny the existence of the mutual agreement and release, his motivations for agreeing to that resolution have been twisted to say the least.'
'Far from any admission of guilt or any ulterior motive, Mr Ronaldo was advised to privately resolve the allegations against him in order to avoid the inevitable attempts that are now being made to destroy a reputation that has been built upon hard work, athleticism and honor.'
Ms Mayorga alleges she reached a settlement with Ronaldo in 2010 in exchange for her silence, before the original police allegation was dropped.
After Ms Mayorga asked Las Vegas police to reopen the case in August this year, the force have said they aim to question Ronaldo about her claims.
Ronaldo has described rape as an 'abominable crime'.
Spanish media reported rumours that Ronaldo camp might be claiming that his former club Real Madrid that pressured him into signing an NDA deal with Mayorga, in order to ensure the case never made it to court in a bid to protect the club's own public-facing image.
The La Liga giants have not yet responded to the claims.
