SPAL Coach Leonardo Semplici is progressing well after emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage.
The tactician went under the knife on Monday evening after severe stomach pains.
A statement released by the club confirms Semplici is recovering well after the operation.
Recent tests had practically normal results and the Coach has been able to resume eating light food.
It remains to be seen if he’ll be well enough to sit on the bench in this weekend’s Serie A match against Fiorentina.
