SPAL are reportedly closing in on a deal with Cagliari midfielder Lucas Castro, as his agents are currently in Milan holding ‘positive’ talks about a move.
Sporting director Davide Vagnati is, according to Sky Sport Italia, in Milan to hold talks with the agent of Castro and report that the progress is developing positively.
The Rossoblu player has only started six times in Serie A this term and has seemingly been replaced in Rolando Maran’s squad since the arrival of Radja Nainggolan, Marko Rog and Nahitan Nandez.
The broadcaster has now revealed that the 30-year-old is closing in on a move to Ferrara and could leave before the window shuts on Friday.
