According to a report by Sports Zone, Paris Saint-Germain have reached a salary agreement with Ademola Lookman (26). However, PSG are yet to be fully convinced of finalising a deal for the Atalanta BC forward as the French champions are expected to explore all their options before committing to the Lookman transfer.
On the other hand, Lookman is keen to join PSG and will try and sign for the club over concrete interest from Saudi Arabia. Al-Ahli wanted the Nigerian international to form a new attacking triumvirate with Riyad Mahrez (33) and their other transfer target Brentford’s Ivan Toney (28).
Lookman as a result of this transfer interest was absent from Atalanta’s squad as the club opened their campaign with a visit to US Lecce on Sunday afternoon. The Europa League winners recorded a 4-0 victory which sees them top the table due to goal difference.
