The chances of Alexis Sanchez being purchased outright by Inter are becoming increasingly remote according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
The Chilean international attacker joined Inter this past Summer from Premier League side Manchester United on a season long loan but has done little to convince Inter that they should pursue a permanent move for him.
Not only has Sanchez not performed to expectations but his gigantic salary of €20 million per season and the fact he is 31-years-old make a permanent move unlikely.
Sanchez has been on the pitch for just 493 minutes this season, spread across 13 appearances across all competitions to date.
During his brief time on the field, he has scored one goal and tallied three assists but has found it extremely difficult to stay in the starting 11 due to the fine form that both Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku have showed this term with them having scored 16 and 22 goals respectively.
