Inter defender Milan Skriniar has played a full 21 games since the start of the season for both the Nerazzurri and the Slovakian national team, according to a report from today's paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how Skriniar, alongside Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer and German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, has played a total of 31.5 hours of football since the start of the season in the summer for both club and country.
Conte has heavily deployed the defender due to his incredible defensive abilities and important to the 50-year-old Italian coach's tactical plans.
Former Inter coach Luciano Spalletti deployed Skriniar in a similar way, the report highlights. Spalletti only left out Skriniar when he was absolutely forced to, for example playing him in every league game in his first season at the club and in 35 out of 38 games in the second season. Since the middle of March, Skriniar has not missed a single game for the Nerazzurri.
Skriniar's work with the Nerazzurri's medical staff to stay fit also has to be commended, the report adds. His ability to regularly play every game for Inter and not face fatigue or muscle injuries shows the hard work carried out by him and the staff in Inter's medical department.
