The refereeing appointments for the upcoming round of Champions League group stage fixtures have been announced with Szymon Marciniak assigned to take charge of Inter's match away to Slavia Prague.

The 38-year-old Polish referee will be assisted by Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz on Wednesday night at the 19,370 capacity Sinobo Stadium in the Czech capital whilst the fourth official will be Tomasz Musial. Pawel Gil has been assigned to take charge of VAR with Marcin Borkowski to be there alongside him to assist.

This match will be Marciniak's 17th for the season across all competitions and third match in the Champions League group stage.

In his 16 games refereed so far, he has shown he is not afraid to dish out a yellow card having brandished one no less than 68 times. He has also handed out two red cards and awarded 11 penalties.

This will be the third time that he referees a match involving Inter and the first time he ever referees a match involving Slavia Prague.
