England players have arrived at St George's Park ahead of their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifier against Italy on Thursday evening.

Gareth Southgate named his England squad for their upcoming tournament qualifiers last Thursday, with Ivan Toney a surprise inclusion as Trent Alexander-Arnold and Raheem Sterling were the biggest names to miss out.

There was no Marcus Rashford or Mason Mount at the England training complex after both pulled out of representing their national team through injury.

Chelsea full-back Reece James marked his return to the national team set-up after previously missing the Qatar World Cup squad due to a serious injury, while he was also joined by his club colleague Ben Chilwell.

Jude Bellingham arrived after catching a flight over from Germany where he represents Borussia Dortmund, but it was a shorter trip for Man City trio Jack Grealish, Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips.

The majority of arriving players were already decked out in their national team training attire as they stepped out their cars and into the comfort of the luxury St George's. But there were a few exceptions.

Leicester City playmaker James Maddison turned up wearing a chequered overshirt, baseball cap, and light-coloured jeans while appearing to carry a speaker over his shoulder.

Chelsea defender Chilwell arrived dressed in a pink cap, black jumper, black jeans and man-bag while wheeling in a leather suitcase.

Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson similarly dressed in all-black as he was greeted by national team manager Gareth Southgate.

Luke Shaw and Fraser Forster continued the slimming black theme as the Man United left-back arrived wearing a hoodie and cap while carrying a bag of merchandise from his club.

England captain Harry Kane lead by example as he dressed in sky blue national team travelling gear and took time out to share a chat with his fellow dressing room leader Henderson.

Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Phil Foden, Walker, and Bellingham also followed in similar styles but deciding to dress in different pieces of the Three Lions training kit.

There was no signs of post-World Cup disappointment after England exited the last tournament at the quarter-finals stage after being knocked out by France.

Every player appeared in good spirits as their various private-driven vehicles pulled up at the Burton upon Trent campus, but won't have much time to rest before they make their way to Italy ahead of Thursday's tie.
