Daniele de Rossi is preparing to jump back into senior coaching.
De Rossi has terminated his contract with Roma by mutual consent this week.
Sacked by the Giallorossi last year, De Rossi was placed on gardening leave with his deal running to 2027.
It's now been confirmed De Rossi and Roma have reached an agreement to end the deal, which was worth €3m-a-year.
This decision will reduce Roma's wage bill and could mark the return of the coach, who rejected Sampdoria's overtures this summer.
De Rossi has been linked with Torino, where coach Marco Baroni is already under pressure less than two months into the new season.
