Tottenham news: Catch all the biggest headlines on Tottenham including updates on Harry Kane, Richarlison and Arnaut Danjuma
Harry Kane to Man United
Former Man United defender Gary Neville believes that his ex-side are the only option for Harry Kane this summer as the Tottenham striker's future is increasingly unclear. The England national team captain has just over 12 months remaining on his contract, with doubts over a stay at this stage.
Neville told Sky Sports: “I think if Harry Kane could leave now and you could get him an exit out of there to a club, in Manchester probably. United or City, I think he would take that opportunity. More than likely not going to be City because of their Haaland expenditure and what they’ve done with him.
“Manchester United are desperate for a centre-forward, Tottenham fans will be furious with me, they’ll say it’s me coming on television to try and get their player to Manchester United. It is not. It just looks to me like, at this moment in time, the most likely move."
Richarlison exit
Former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson believes Richarlison would be perfect in Erik ten Hag's team. Swapping Everton for Tottenham in the summer in a £60million deal, the Brazil international has yet to find his top form in north London. Coming to the attention with a late double against Marseille in the Champions League in early September, Richarlison has not scored in a game for the Lilywhites since his heroics against the French side.
Danjuma concerns
Arnaut Danjuma's wait for his first Tottenham start goes on after he was once again named amongst the substitutes for their FA Cup fifth-round tie away at Sheffield United. Featuring off the bench in three games prior to their trip to Bramall Lane, the cup encounter looked like the perfect opportunity to give him a go from the off, with attacking changes always going to take place.
