Udinese goalkeeper Juan Musso had knee surgery today and is expected to be out of action for circa a month.
He tore the meniscus in his right knee while on international duty with Argentina.
Musso flew back to Italy and had the operation at the Villa Stuart clinic in Rome today.
A statement from the club confirms he will travel to Udine tomorrow to begin rehabilitation.
Sky Sport Italia predict he’ll be out of action for three to four weeks.
It’s a heavy blow for Udinese, who now look to either 32-year-old Brazilian Nicolas or 24-year-old former prodigy Simone Scuffet, who just returned from a loan spell at Spezia.
