Lazio face competition for Borja Mayoral, as it’s reported Valencia have offered €15m plus bonuses to Real Madrid.
Like David Silva, the 23-year-old striker was another player who seemed to be a done deal for Lazio last week, but time drags on and no announcement is imminent.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the pressure is on for the Aquile, because Valencia have dived in with a proposal worth €15m plus performance-related bonuses.
Lazio just spent €18m to get Vedat Muriqi from Fenerbahce and are getting cold feet over signing another centre-forward.
Fiorentina were also interested in Mayoral, who spent the last two seasons on loan with Levante, but Valencia have now pushed Lazio into a corner.
