Now Barca has two non-EU players in the first team (Arthur and Vidal). In La Liga, each club is allowed five non-EU players, but are only allowed to name three non-EU players in each matchday squad. As Barcelona are aming at signing Neymar and Lautaro, Vidal could leave this summer to make a spot for them.
Mundo Deportivo claims that, Arturo Vidal could leave this summer to open up a non-EU spot in the team that's supposed to be given to either Neymar or Lautaro Martínez, or both.
Barcelona seem unwilling to pay Lautaro's €111 million release clause in his current contract but are widely reported to be willing to give Inter a deal worth €150 million which is inclusive of the values of players they would include.
According to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain expect Neymar to leave this summer and have even given him a price tag of 150 million euros.
