The Tottenham striker has claimed the prize twice and William Hill are offering an industry-best price on the 25-year-old topping the scoring charts

Harry Kane is expected to be one of the leading contenders for the Premier League top goalscorer market once again.

Two-time winner of the Golden Boot, the Tottenham frontman has consistently been one of the division's leading marksmen.

Since breaking into the Spurs first team in 2014, the 25-year-old has plundered 125 goals in 188 Premier League games. With statistics like that, it's unsurprising that William Hill make Kane their 4/1 (5.0) favourite to be crowned the top scorer once again.

Anyone wishing to back Kane though, can do so at an industry best price of 5/1 (6.0) with the same firm. This price is available in the Enhanced Odds section of William Hill's Football homepage.

The best price available on Kane elsewhere is 9/2 (5.50) so the 5/1 (6.0) on offer here is a significant boost on one of the market principles ahead of the new season getting underway.

Kane made an emphatic return to pre-season action against Juventus. The England international came off the bench at the interval in Singapore before hitting the winning goal from long range in injury time, sealing a 3-2 win for his side.

Indeed, Kane backers will hope that the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele from Lille will provide extra ammunition in the upcoming season as the club settle into their rebuilt home stadium.

One of the factors that makes Kane so appealing as a betting proposition is the fact that he is undoubtedly Spurs' main striker. Mohamed Salah (5/1), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (7/1) and Sadio Mane (11/1) shared the top scorer prize last term but none of the trio can claim the lion's share of their team's opportunities.

Mauricio Pochettino often deploys the prolific forward as a lone frontman, supported by wingers, and when fit he is almost a guaranteed starter. Even in a campaign interrupted by injury, the 25-year-old notched 17 times in just 28 league appearances.

With such an emphatic scoring record and the majority of Spurs' chances in the final third falling to Kane, the 5/1 (6.0) is likely to make plenty of appeal.

There are a range of bets available at industry-best prices with William Hill including 10/3 (4.33) on the Liverpool/Manchester City straight forecast and 14/1 (15.0) on Newcastle to be bottom on Christmas Day.
