When does the contract of every Juventus player expire?

  /  autty

Juventus have five players who will leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the 2021-22 season unless they sign new contracts.

These are backup goalkeeper Mattia Perin, right-backs Juan Cuadrado and Mattia De Sciglio, plus attackers Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata.

Morata sees his two-year loan spell in Turin end at the end of the season and it remains to be seen if Juventus will look to keep him for longer.

Dybala, meanwhile, has been in contract talks on and off for a long time but the feeling is he will eventually sign a new deal.

Elsewhere, Juventus have six more players whose contracts run out in 2023.

This means that in many cases the Bianconeri will consider selling them at the end of the season - in order to get a transfer fee - unless they pen new deals.

Captain Giorgio Chiellini is likely to retire when his current contract expires in 2023 as he will be almost 39.

Juventus are considered by many to be in something of a transitional period, having finished fourth in the 2020-21 campaign.

They are focusing heavily on signing younger players - with the likes of Federico Chiesa, Denis Zakaria and Dusan Vlahovic arriving in recent windows.

Expect more turnover of the older players in the coming year or so.
