Leicester have agreed an initial £12.5million deal for Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal.
The 26-year-old Algerian international arrived for a medical on Friday and has agreed a four year contract.
Ligue 1 outfit Monaco granted Ghezzal permission to travel to England for talks and a medical on Friday prior to meeting up with Claude Puel who was his manager at Lyon.
Ghezzal moved to Monaco last summer from Lyon but struggled to break into the first team on a regular basis, making just seven starts in Ligue 1.
In 35 appearances in all competitions last term - including four outings in the Champions League - Ghezzal scored two goals and created four assists.
Puel is eager to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season after losing Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City for a staggering £60m.
The Foxes begin their Premier League campaign against Manchester United at Old Trafford next Friday evening.
