@Upwardly2015: The question of which team is most favourite to win 2017/18 UCL is hard to say for certainty. On a general note, Barcelona, Man City, Real Madrid and others ordinarily come to mind. On the other hand, anything can happen, including the most unlikely team like Sevilla with determination and some element of luck. Did every football pundit not predict Man Utd as most favourites to win against Sevilla? I'm sure we all witnessed how Man Utd lost out in their own home soil.
While Barcelona, Man City and Bayern Munich being league leaders in their various countries may be a bit overwhelmed, thereby leaving UCL as Real Madrid's only hope of a trophy, nothing stop any of them from winning UCL in addition to their respective league titles.
I believe Barcelona and Man City are the most favourites when further narrowed down! The two teams are formidable and have been consistent in winning matches compared to Real Madrid that may only bank more on experience.
From the analysis above I'll settle for BARCELONA, MAN CITY AND REAL MADRID in that order for the most favourites teams for UCL trophy.

@fahad8351: It's tough to settle down in one conception when it comes about Champions League. Every team is capable and eligible for the honor of being Champion after completing the phases of round 16.
First of all we need to look into the weakness and strength of the teams that can make them go through or knocked out.
Barcelona vs AS. Roma seems an easy choice, but we need to remember that AS. Roma have a good midfield when Barcelona is weak in defending counter attacks and they always find it hard in away matches. If Barcelona can play how they played against Chelsea then I can say it will be a nightmare for AS. Roma.
On the other hand, Juventus are in very good form while Real Madrid are suffering some bad defending experiences in the La Liga. Though, Real Madrid is different when they play Champions League, Juventus are not like PSG. Their defence is like great wall of China. But, still we know they conceded 2 goals against Tottenham and their Main striker Higuain sometimes lost his rhymes in big matches. If, they can improve their defending than how they were against tottenham I can pretty sure they will go through.
Bayern and Liverpool are not playing up to the mark this Champions League. Bayern Lost against PSG and some minnow teams unexpectedly in their league games. So, there are a lot of chances to be slipped from the quarter final or semifinal.
Now, come to the most consistent team in this season, ManCity. they are playing fantastic. Like Gardiola's Barca. But, I have to say you, They are not Barca. They have a little experience in Champions League like PSG. Only, facing EPL teams and Play good doesn't mean you will play likewise against Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus. Sometimes Experience matters. I think ManCity will be eliminated in Semifinal.
In the conclusion, The finalist will be the winner of Real Madrid vs Juventus match against Barcelona.
And, lastly I will bet for Barcelona as they have a Legend with them named Messi. He, alone can make difference in a match. He has a hunger for winning trophies for his team than anyone has ever. And, this year he deserves it.

Madrid needs a lethal and prolific Attacker like Lewandowski to join the like of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale in order to Continue her dominance of football. With Lewandowski coming to Real Madrid, all Madrid needs is to Sell Benzema and let Lewandowski take his place in the attacking trio alongside Bale and Ronaldo, so that from BBC, it now becomes CBL(Cristiano, Bale and Lewandowski) He would fit in well and do what Benzema isn't doing anymore. he'll be a very good partner for Cristiano.. Cristiano never had a decent partner in Real Madrid ( except Raul in one season) then he had highuain, Morata, Jese, adebayor ( wtf), then big Benz, he was good, but he always need 5 chances to score one, this is the reason why i think messi have more assists than Ronaldo, Leo had etoo, ibra,henry, neymar, suarez as his partner in attack, this players were incredible, they were clinical and deadly infront of goal. Robert lewandowski in my view is one of the greatest striker there is... he's proven himself for Poland and also for bayern Munich, but for some reason haven't got the recognition he deserves, you hardly hear a club in the market after that is after lewandowski. but now one of the greatest club in real Madrid has realised the talent lewandowski has. he is definitely better and more clinical than Benzema and will ease the burden of Cristiano Ronaldo in handling games all by himself. all Ronaldo needs is a striker who can score goals along with him and lewandowski is the perfect candidate. left foot, right foot or with the head, he is a perfect striker, strength, agility and the will power is what describes lewandowski. with BBC already terrorising defences, imagine if lewandowski joins, I'm sure clubs will fear real Madrid even more, because they are all goal scorers and lewandowski doesn't play infront of goal. another thing is that he won't miss the support bayern players are giving him because real Madrid players are up to the task. if he joins, real Madrid can guarantee winning and beating any team
