@Mosanya: I will have to hand it to Ter Stegen, he was spectacular and made crucial saves today, from saving a penalty to stopping ever Dortmund shots, he deserves to be the man of the match, he had a good game, he was the hero of the match, and maybe the Germany coach should think about who should be the goalkeeper for barca.

Let's be real, without Messi there is no Barcelona attack. Today Dortmund was insanely dangerous and should've scored at least 2 in open play but again and again alongside that penalty was a pure genius from Ter Stegen. Dortmund botched the rest of their chances in an embarrassing way by sending them to Munich. This match wasn't a great one, it was slowed down by too many fouls from both sides there was hardly good transitions.

People judging from the get-go who is better than who. Just remember last year Spurs lost to Barca in the Groups only to go further, Juve lost to United only to go further and top the group. Things happen from time to time. City even lost to Lyon and still went on to win later. It's a bump on the road but Chelsea can still progress through the group to the later stages... have hope, don't throw all hope out the window cos of 1 game...

Article 9: Lampard confirms Barkley IS Chelsea's penalty taker after his costly miss

Lampard is defending his players so dont all start shouting and ranting, it's natural for any manager to defend their players from the public eye and reporters. Barkley most likely is a penalty taker in the side and missed his penalty but that doesnt mean everyone should now slate the guy. The game was already gone even at that point and we all knew deep down Barkley was never really gonna do anything massively impactful... I think Frank shares the blame for this loss with the players cos his substitutions were very wrong. However at the end of the day he is a new manager to top flight football si there will be 1 or 2 mistakes along the way but overall his management hasn't really been that bad considering his position this season taking over a very depleted squad that lacks quality in a few areas and no window to improve that quality. Chelsea fans need to remember 2 things, 1 we bought Barkley for 15 million so he was never really supposed to be something special, 2 Lampard has this season to build the team up and find his best formation and tactical set up as well as identify key players and targets, this isnt a season where we will win trophies, it's a rebuilding period so we need to focus on getting top 6 and maybe a quarters finish in the UCL. Expecting more out of the team is setting the bar way too high and you will let yourself down...
