Experts of last DAILY TOPIC: Which player do you have sympathy for most and why?
First Name I would like to mention is Arsenal Midfielder Santi Cazorla!!
Santi Cazorla has gone under the knife 10 times since an injury in 2016 and plans on returning to the top level in 2019 provided all goes to plan. Cazorla, who is 33, has not pulled on the Arsenal jersey since October 2016 when he suffered an injury in a Champions League game against Ludogrets.
Since that injury, Cazorla has gone under the knife TEN times and in a recent interview revealed that an infection had resulted in the surgeons taking EIGHT centimetres of tendon from his ankle.
Second would be Daniel Sturridge!!
A world class and very smart striker in front of the goal.Everyone who witnessed his goalscoring capacity two seasons back for Liverpool would know that.Such a good striker but injury prone!! He would have been at another level by now if he could have continued without any injuries!!
Third would be Hull City Midfielder Ryan Mason!
Mason sustained a fractured skull after competing with Cahill during a corner in a Premier League match last January. He required emergency surgery on 'life-threatening injuries' and was released eight days later.
Mason had originally announced his plans to return to football in early 2018 and said in October that he was waiting for his skull to further recover before taking to the field again. The midfielder was initially expected to return to football, but recent scans showed the injury to be even more significant than originally feared.
As a result, Mason announced his retirement at the age of 26 to an outpouring of tributes and well wishes from across English football.
I think that the most unlucky would be Asamoah Gyan.
For those who don't know him. He is known for missing crucial penalties in important matches. Remember the world cup quarter-final between Ghana and Uruguay, it was an intense match Ghana pressing Uruguay and were on the verge to become the first African country to reach the semi-finals but the unforgettable happened, Luis Suarez ( how I hate him). Right before the end of extra time, he kept the ball out of the net using his hand. Ghana received a penalty and if they scored history would be made. Of course, all Africans were supporting Ghana and were celebrating already the victory. So Gyan stepped in and shoot "bam, he missed". They went in the penalty shoot-out and of course lost.
This is not the end he also missed a crucial penalty in the African cup of nations semifinals that would have sent Ghana to the finals. People say that they burnt his house in Ghana.

Probably sacrifice the CAM because I trust that my CDM has the stamina to play in the middle alone.

I would play a 3-4-1-1 formation in which my wingbacks would give me much needed width and 3cbs would help me protect my goal with 1dm in front of them along with a cm, in front of them would be my no.10 in a free role who can roam around the final third to create chances for my striker.
Impressive thinking dude!!

I'd sacrifice the ST.... The first thing one tries to do with 10 players us not concede any goal.... So, no one to take away from defence or midfield.... ST becomes an obvious scapegoat coz wingers can transform into side-forwards like LF and RF and can give you both wing play as well as finishing when necessary.... Also, the constant number of members in midfield and defence would mean stability in defending your goal and constant creation of chances.... So, ST would be my position to sacrifice

Yesterday Man City Could have easily sacrificed a goalkeeper position

cam position and tell the striker to play in the position of cam

I have got to first put into consideration the strength of the team we are playing against. if it's a 50 50 situation, then I would go for 3 4(diamond 4 - so we always have 3 attackers when attacking and back 4 line when defending ) 2 formation.

Would probably take out the Cam, we can carry on without the extra blade and can pull back a defensive midfielder to make it 4-2-3 then play long with the Attackers (preferably 2 wingers and a target man) as well as coubter press with semi long passes from midfield to Attack giving opponents their worst nightmare

the second strike option. because I need to shore up my defence and midfield properly

Cam because it is a position that is not the most important because you have a striker to score goals.
Sokabce

striker or cam because how they are at the top and dont really do much unless they go down to midfield and get the ball

I will sacrifice my striker because I can still counter attack with my wing

the Cam role anything else would significantly kill the squad

I'll think center back because team will get more powerful defense to save the goal

i will wing. it us mor important to scor if we have defended well.
Mushaid FCB

I would sacrifice left wing.. Because defence is more important if u succeed to defend than you can score in counters too.. The probality of scoring would b little but not 0%

I usually use 4-5-1 formation in video games. of course it will he the midfielder should be sacrifice. if it's different formation, i don't know. maybe, just maybe. it depends on how many times left and how good your opponent are playing.

If I were to choose 10 men for a foot ball team then I would go up with the 3-3-2 formation 2 strikers are more than enough for a particular game. The defence should be made as strong as possible keeping in mind that the team has only 2 player in the extreme attacking position we should not concede more GOALS for than it becomes more difficult to score GOALS. And also if we are in a one goal lead we can focus or full attention on the defensive part and when the opposition di not get GOALS needed they will put more attention in the forward leaving the back empty That moment will be the best moment score GOALS This is all I had to say about a ten man team

I would sacrifice the holding mid fielder.... Because there won't be any need to hold the mid field with 10 players playing the game

I should sarifice all except CAM. BECAUSE!!!!

I would go 3-3-3. The two left and right wingers would have to drop back but play off the striker.

I would sacrifice the CAM because my striker would drop deep and play like a number 9 while the wings would drive in when the ball is on the other side.

I will sacrifise the centre back and will play attacking game and show the opponent that we can win with 10 players
Mat4110

I would sacrifice striker because both wingers can come together in the middle and get back out wide
Wolfman_Benzi55

It will depend on few circumstances like how important match it is, how good is the opponent team and which player is not available for the match(the 11th one).. But, in general, the most probable places foregone would be CAM and Striker...of which CAM will be most preferred.. As being foregoing CAM, it will not affect team's performance much and this formation will be a more balancing one... In case ST being left out, midfielders will join the attack can compensate for missing Striker...

I can't just simply remove a player from pitch, it always depends on the situation of the match . If my team has lead of 3 to 4 goals I shall call striker or an attacking midfielder . If it's just the opposite I can remove a defender
aiden31

I would sacrifice ST

i would remove number 11, then will let my number 10 have a free role rotating center field to the left side doin the both work as No. 10 and 11... the in order to keep attackin more alive i wil put in place a more attacking minded No 3. like Marcelo..

I would drop cam, then have a box to box midfielder at cdm

I would remove a striker if we are leading, but a midfielder if we are down or drawing.

I would give up on a striker and play 4-4-1, but only if I'm procteting the result which is in my favour's team.If my team is 1 or 2 goal down, I would lose a miedfielder and play 4-3-2.
i_koda

Depending on the playing style of the opposite team. I would observe where they pass the ball more, which is the strongest side. then I will decide which position to remove. for each team the position will be different. defending is my main priority so definitely not the defenders.

I prefer losing CDM.. cause other positions are quite important.. according to me
Roshan141

I would lose a striker and play with 4-3-2 formation letting the two strikers play in central area while mid fiealders will present them with glorious opportunities.

I would sacrifice 1 of the wingers and turn it into 2 strikers or a lf or a rf doesn't make a big difference to the team. The midfield and defence will also still be solid
JohnMc2018

CDM because other positions can do the same job as them and I feel like it’s the least necessary position
Saharsh_Bawankar
3
I will lose LW or RW position and change formation similar to 4-4-2 and introducing a defender. This is most effective way ko change things around or atleast give chance to fight back again and strengthening defence is req. to conduct Off-side trap and covering that extra player who is moving freely.
TenuEdem

Well i will sacrifice the LW leaving the defence and the midfield intact. The reason being that the RW will be use as a false striker assisting the the main striker changing the Formation to 3-4-2. which i believe the players can cop with very without feeling that they are down by a man
