All Football Best Squad of 2021 has officially been revealed! Lewandowski, Messi and Mbappe lead the XI with votes cast from AFers all around the world.
Votes were cast by 1, 863, 632 fans in the All Football Best Squad of 2021 poll with players from the English Premier League dominating the final XI.
The 7 time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi came on top by receiving over 1.3 million votes. Along with the Argentine, his PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe joins him on the opposite wing, and Donnarumma, who just came to the club this summer, earns himself a spot through performing exceptionally in EURO 2020.
English Premier League dominated the squad. The Man City keyman leads the midfield with the Champions League winners Kante and Jorginho. Behind them, Rüdiger and Dias, the UCL final opponents, partner up as the center back duo. In the right back position, Liverpool talent Trent Alexander Arnold beats the Man City wingback Cancelo.
Polish superstar Robert Lewandowski and the Canadian prodigy Afonso Davies are the two only representatives of German football.
The line-up is based on a 4-3-3 formation, by far the most popular chosen by fans during the voting process.
