Cristiano Ronaldo pictured training with new club Al-Nassr after mega-money move

Cristiano Ronaldo has been pictured participating in training with Al-Nassr - amid uncertainty over when he can actually make his debut.

The Portuguese forward completed a mega-money move to the Saudi Arabian side in December, signing a £175million-a-year deal after his Manchester United contract was ripped up in November following a bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

And Ronaldo was snapped getting stuck in to training work with his new team-mates, despite potentially not being allowed to make his Al-Nassr bow until January 22..

In a post on their English-speaking Twitter account, Al-Nassr tweeted four pictures of their players in preparation for Friday's clash with Al-Ta'ee, which was delayed 24 hours due to bad weather hitting the club's electricity supply.

The caption read: 'Our stars finished their preparations for today's match against @tai1381' and show Ronaldo jogging on the field in the dark blue and black training kit of his new club.

Al-Nassr said about the delay: 'Due to heavy rain and weather conditions impacting the stadium's electricity, we've been informed tonight's (Thursday's) match against Al-Ta'ee is postponed for 24 hours. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to fans and wish everyone safe travels.'

Due to a two-match domestic ban being carried over from his time at United, Ronaldo could miss Friday's game and the following week's clash with Al-Shabab, although Al-Nassr were reportedly exploring ways to circumvent the ban.

If it is upheld, he cannot make his long-awaited bow for Rudi Garcia's side until January 22.

Among the new team-mates for veteran Ronaldo, 37, are Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar, goalkeeper David Ospina and Brazilian pair Luis Gustavo and Talisca.
