Massimo Moratti, The former owner of Inter believes that “making Messi and Lautaro together will bring fantastic chemical reaction, they are all pure magic.”
In an interview with RAI recently, Moratti indicated 'Messi is not a forbidden dream for Inter at all'.
Today the former president told MD, "It was only my desire as an ordinary person. I don't command the club now and only watch games if I want to sleep. I haven't talked with the new owners.
"I always love Messi, it's true. When I was president I always focused on him. But again, my opinion is based on I am an ordinary person but not as a club owner.
He added, "Messi & Lautaro will burst perfect chemical reaction, they are both pure magic. They're fast, creative, skilful. Watching them playing together would be amazing. I like Lautaro very much. He's not an ordinary footballer, you'll never get bored of watching his football.
About the football season affected by coronavirus pandemic, he says," football is about passion & joy, about going to stadiums with family. Resuming the league by playing behind closed doors can't help the sport. Now we have to recover from this pandemic and help our footballers' recovery, who are all elite athletes.
"Have you stopped to think about the consequences of the coronavirus on our footballers? Health is always first. There's a lot of talk about the football industry, but football is always about passion. If we keep football away from the fans, we'll lose everything.
"Inter was always characterized because we were a family, no matter we won or lost, we always try our best to connect with the fans. Now all of us in Italy, as in Spain, will work together to beat coronavirus.”
