Pedro Porro has revealed that he and his Tottenham team-mates would be happy to see Harry Kane complete a blockbuster £100million move to Real Madrid this summer.
The England captain has emerged as the Spanish giant's No 1 target after club legend Karim Benzema left the club for a £258m payday in Saudi Arabia.
Kane, who has one year remaining on his contract with Spurs, has been the subject of intense speculation following another remarkable season in front of goal.
And Porro, who only joined the club in January, believes the move - which could see Kane secure his first piece of silverware - would be celebrated by much of the playing staff at the club.
'If Kane decides to go to Real Madrid we'll be as happy as he is or more,' the 23-year-old told reporters at the opening of a training camp named in his honour.
Even with Kane's 30-goal season in the Premier League, Spurs fell to eighth, their worst finish in almost two decades.
On Tuesday the club announced their fifth manager in the last two years would be departing Celtics boss Ange Postecoglou, whose in-tray is likely bursting with memos. And includes the fairly important issue of Kane's future.
With Benzema set to enjoy the riches on offer in Saudi Arabia next year, Madrid are expected to launch a tempting bid to pry Kane away from the English capital.
Though Manchester United still lurk as Kane remains a favourite of head coach Erik ten Hag, whose side are also expected to register their interest in the 30-year-old.
