'What United do to me!': Gary Neville pokes fun at his vein-bulging face during on-air rant

Gary Neville has poked fun himself after posting a vein-bulging picture taken from his on-air bust-up with Jamie Redknapp.

The altercation took place in the aftermath of Manchester United's 4-0 defeat at Brentford on Saturday where both pundits were working for Sky Sports.

The former England internationals disagreed on who was to blame for United's torrid start to the season with Neville taking aim at the Glazer family - the clubs American owners - whilst Redknapp insisted the players should take responsibility for the teams current plight.

At one stage, things got heated between the pair with Redknapp telling Neville 'Look at me when I'm talking to you' when in the midst of his rant aimed at the Red Devils.

The pair did eventually draw a line under their disagreement and ended up sharing a joke to cut the tension.

But now Neville has took to his Instagram page to post the picture alongside the caption 'What United do to me.'

In the picture, the former United captain is in mid-flow of his exchange with Redknapp and such is his frustration with the club's situation, Neville's veins can be seen bulging out of his face and neck.

Neville has never shied away from publicly discussing the problems at his former club but rarely have United reduced Neville to the blood-boiling state he found himself in on Saturday evening.

Next up for Erik ten Hag's faltering side is the daunting prospect of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool who visit Old Trafford next Monday.

The Reds ran out 5-0 winners in the same fixture last season and few would bet against a repeat outcome.

Should Klopp's side inflict a third straight defeat on the 20-times league champions, Neville's reactions may well be more severe than the one at Brentford.
