Tottenham news: Ange Postecoglou will now almost the entire Spurs squad for training sessions with another batch of starts returning to Hotspur Way

Tottenham's international stars have arrived at Hotspur Way for their first pre-season training sessions with new manager Ange Postecoglou. Harry Kane, James Maddison, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Ivan Perisic and Cristian Romero were just a few of the marquee names to return as Spurs prepare for the 2023/24 campaign.

With that said, football.london has spotted four things from the clip of several key first-team players setting foot back in Hotspur Way for the first time in over a month.

Kane sparks transfer frenzy

In the video captured of his return, Kane looked very calm as he exchanged pleasantries with several members of Spurs' media team, however a particular thing from the video has sparked a transfer frenzy. Kane is wearing a Kith and Columbia sportswear top, and Spurs fans have taken the first part as a massive transfer hint.

Twitter user @The82Club said underneath the post: "Kane knows what hes doing.. KITH stands for Kanes Immortally Tottenham Hotspur Man aint going NOWHERE" @TotalSpursUK then replied: "KANE IS TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR." While that is clearly not the case, Spurs supporters are certainly hoping their star man sticks around for another season at the very least.

Lo Celso transfer hint

Walking in with fellow Argentine Cristian Romero, Lo Celso didn't look best pleased to be back, however he could find himself renewed under Postecoglou. A return to Real Betis however, has been discussed and it is likely the best move for all parties with Tottenham hopeful of recouping some of the £42.3million they paid across 2019 and 2020.

Forgotten man returns

Postecoglou is eyeing some significant additions in defence, but a forgotten man could solve some of those problems and he returned on Wednesday. Joe Rodon has greatly struggled to break into the first-team picture with a loan to Rennes arriving at the start of last season.

His spell in France did not quite go to plan but he can now prove to his new head coach that signing both Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba is not needed.

New signings joy

Among the many starts returning, it was also the first official day at the club for both Maddison and Solomon. The creative midfielder became Postecoglou's third signing in a £40million move from Leicester, while Spurs picked up Solomon on a free transfer with his switch announced on Tuesday.

Both arrived through the door with smiles on their faces as they prepare to meet all of their new teammates with Maddison then pictured in Spurs' grey and blue training gear later in the day.
