Olivier Giroud ought to have his Inter medical over the weekend, claim Sky Sport Italia, after Chelsea agreed a €4.5m plus €1m add-ons deal.
The forward is in the final six months of his contract at Stamford Bridge and made only seven competitive appearances so far this season, contributing one goal.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, a deal has been struck between the two clubs for €4.5m plus another €1m in bonuses.
Giroud worked out personal terms for a contract to June 2022 and is expected in Milan for his medical over the next few days.
He had to wait until Matteo Politano had completed his move to Roma, in exchange for Leonardo Spinazzola, which should be done on Wednesday.
