Jackson's agent gives update on future: He’s attracted by Italian football

Reports claim that Bayern Munich have not completely ruled out bringing back the Chelsea loanee Jackson for next season, as he continues to divide fans with his mixed performances.

The Senegal international has struggled for consistent minutes in Bavaria under Vincent Kompany as he competes with arguably the best striker on the planet in Harry Kane.

Jackson, who is currently representing Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations, has scored five goals in 18 appearances for the club so far and a decision could be made on his future in the coming weeks.

Now, his agent Barat has revealed that if Bayern do not make a move for the forward, he may be interested in stepping into the Serie A.

“Italian top clubs wanted him even before the Chelsea move, and last summer as well,” Barat explained. “Nico only wanted Bayern, we made it happen.”

“One day playing in Italy? For sure he’s attracted by Italian football.”

Chelsea have already agreed a deal to sign Emmanuel Emegha from Strasbourg and are likely to make more summer additions, which only makes it harder for Jackson to fight for his spot.

Several clubs are said to be attentive to the situation surrounding Jackson in what could be one of the biggest summer moves for the Serie A.
